Baby Turtles

We went to the zoo today and saw a ton of animals. When we pulled into
the parking lot Simon started screaming "penguins, penguins" which I
thought was great because that's the first time he has understood we
are at the zoo by recognizing the parking lot. Here is a fun photo of
the baby turtles they breed at the zoo. Looks like it is a successful
program.

Homework

I'm doing a little bit of home repair/necessary maintenance this
weekend. Apparently, it's not very good to have missing shingles on a
house! I love the smell of the cedar shakes. I have a pile of them
inside and it makes the house smell like Christmasy bunny cages... Mmmm.

The Future

Is bleak.

Work

This is the view from my home office. I love this tree, it's so
beautiful. I am dreading the thought that in the next couple of weeks
it will be losing all if it's leaves, exposing us to the crusty
neighbors. Sometimes a little squirrel sits on the branch straight
ahead and stares at me for long periods of time, which kind of creeps
me out.
