Here it is, Arctic Blast 2. We have been waiting for 2 days for it and now that it is here we are all bored and want to go out and about. Seriously, yesterday there was no snow so I got a lot of shopping done. I have kind of half expected us to be snowed in at this point so I have totally procrastinated cleaning and decorating our house for tomorrows holiday party....oops. We will have to sled up to the liquor store this afternoon. Here is a funny video that show Portland drivers making their best effort.

Happy Holidays!

So it's that time of year again and to tell you the truth, it hasn't really felt like the holidays for me until right now, yay! Last night, some awesome girls came over and helped me make tons of cookies and candies (more candy than cookies). This is actually the first time I have ever attempted candy making and I found out that it is sooooo easy. One of the types of candy that I made has peanut butter with rice crispies in it and covered in chocolate...yum, this one is my favorite. I made peppermint bark too and added peppermint flavoring to the white chocolate so that it is more minty which tastes really good and not like toothpaste like you might imagine it could taste. Tonight is the work holiday party. I'm sure it will be a blast. Also, Pedro's new band is playing the Ash St tomorrow night, it will be amazing!
